澎南國中

　　　 Peng Nan Junior High was established in 1970. Our school is located in Pengnan District, Magong City, Penghu County, Taiwan. Surrounded by the ocean, there are several famous beaches that attract lots of tourists to Pen-Nan every year, and is the major center for water sports lovers. The traditional fishing village and marine culture are the key features of our neighborhood. Therefore, we aim to cultivate children who love and have a close connection with the sea through diverse on-campus sports and water activities, fostering their holistic development.

　　　There are currently 3 general classes and 1 resource class, with 39 students and 17 faculty members in our School.

　　　Since 2021, our students have started online culture exchange with schools from several countries, including Japan, Indonesia, Korea and Palau. International Education is one of the main focuses in the school curriculum. We are eager to find companions around the world to learn and grow together.

Our features:

1. Marine sports: We mainly develop 3 marine sports, Stand-up Paddling, Kayaking, and windsurfing. Our members of the windsurfing team have won awards in multiple competitions.

2. Marine conservation: Various activities including beach clean-up, decoration and reuse of marine debris, and special classes on marine conservation and biodiversity of Penghu islands.

3. Aesthetic education: Winner of the "Cross-domain Aesthetic Pilot Award" from the Ministry of Education. Students discover and collect traditional colors and patterns from the neighborhood, and then turn it into creative art works and products.

4. Soccer team: The boy's and girl's soccer teams were established in 2020 and have gradually made a name for themselves in multiple competitions.
